About Amrita:

Judicial candidate Amrita Singh represents her community in many ways. Growing up in Orlando, she attended the University of Central Florida, where she obtained a Bachelors in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy. She also went to law school in Orlando, FL, attending Florida A&M University College of Law, where she obtained her law degree.

Amrita Singh has been practicing law, in many capacities, since 2011: owning and operating her own law practice, managing complex aerospace and defense contracts, handling a variety of real estate transactions and litigating with a national “AM Law 200” law firm, and serving as the Deputy Director of a Florida State agency. Ms. Singh now seeks to be a representative of her community by serving as a judge.

Amrita Singh is a first-generation American and minority woman. She grew up with the principles instilled in her by her U.S. Veteran and business owner father, nurse mother, older brother, and large extended family. Beyond her legal knowledge, Ms. Singh’s life experience and character make her an excellent judicial candidate, committed to diversity and equal justice under the law.

Amrita Singh enjoys gardening, mountain biking, traveling, and music of all kinds. She lives in a 1940s bungalow with her trusted Yorkie-poodle, Paisley.
