Simorgh Community Foundation

Simorgh is a non-profit, non-religious, and non-partisan foundation that aims to organize and maintain a fund in order to support charitable causes as well as community projects that assist Iranian-Canadians and advance their well-being in the greater society.

The foundation’s vision is to build a vibrant and influential Iranian-Canadian community that is characterized by its unity, positive engagement, and material and spiritual contribution to Canadian society. In order to bring this vision into reality, the mission has been centred around creating a culture of collectivism and community investment for the long-term and multi-dimensional growth of Iranian-Canadians in Canada.

There are four areas that Simorgh has chosen to invest in for the Iranian-Canadian community:

Education: To organize and support initiatives that aim to educate and inform the public about important issues that impact the Iranian-Canadian community and Canada’s multicultural society as a whole.

Arts and Culture: To organize and support projects, initiatives, programs, events and festivals that aim to promote Persian arts and culture across Canada.

Community Services (Youth): To organize community-based projects that aim to support Iranian-Canadians, particularly the youth in social, civic, and economic spheres.

Civic Engagement: To organize and support projects that aim to promote civic engagement among Iranian-Canadians.

Last but not least, Simorgh’s great mission is only achievable with generous contributions from supporters like you who indeed give meaning to the culture of collectivism and community investment that is very much needed for Iranian-Canadians across Canada.
