Visual impairments such as uncorrected refractory errors and cataracts are significant health issues in the regions of Africa because of affordability and limited access to care, of which 80 percent is avoidable.
According to the WHO, an estimated 26.3 million people from the Africa Region suffer from visual impairments in one form or the other. Broken down down into general categories, 20.4 million have low vision, and 5.9 million are blind.
We are on a mission to create a world where a persons ability to enjoy the gift of sight is not dependent on the location of their birth or the color of their skin and we ask you to join the cause!
We partner with trusted local non-governmental organizations (NGOs) with mission alignment, expertise and logistics to deliver relief to those who are in need. Where feasible, we connect beneficiaries to resources to put them on a path to self reliance.
100% of public donations go directly to restore eyesight and relieve suffering. Matching contributions from our founder and other private parties fund prioritized administration and fundraising costs
