We are a vegan sanctuary, a safe haven and a permanent home for rescued animals on 63 hectares of rural paddocks and bush. Currently, we have 21 moo kids as well as pigs, sheep, ducks, chickens, and the occasional wildlife friend. We want to raise awareness about how awesome these kiddos are, and the intrinsic value of their lives. We are female/queer run with focus also on sustainability and protecting/ restoring the local environment as well as creating a safe, healing and empowering space. Our animal family were all rescued from animal agriculture or other situations where they were being abused, neglected or unsafe and are now much loved kiddos here 🐮🐄🐑🐷🐔🦆🐱🐦🐾🌏🌱🐂🐄🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
We are located in rural Te Tai Tokerau in Aotearoa (New Zealand). We've been looking into donorbox as we have some incredible humans overseas - maybe you! - who want to support us with regular donations but haven't been able to do so easily due to barriers around paying internationally. Another option is supporting your very own virtual moo (or other critter) friend. Most of our kiddos are still looking for sponsors. Moo kid sponsorships are $15/week (NZD) but we are also super open to part sponsorships, sponsoring as a group or any other ideas.
