Shelter for Congo
The humanitarian situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo is dire. The country has been plagued by conflict and violence for decades, leading to widespread displacement, food insecurity, and a lack of access to basic services such as healthcare and clean water.
The ongoing conflicts between armed groups and government forces have resulted in the displacement of an estimated 8 million people, with many seeking refuge in overcrowded camps or host communities. Whilst many have had to leave their homes and have no shelter at all. Malnutrition rates are alarmingly high, especially among children, and preventable diseases like malaria and cholera are rampant.
Humanitarian organizations are working tirelessly to provide assistance, but they are often hindered by the challenging security conditions and limited resources. Please help us support the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo as we assist in alleviating their suffering.
