Asia * is raising two children by herself. She lives in Carrigaline, County Cork. Her parents and grandparents will not be able to fly over to her this year. She herself will not spend this Christmas in Poland. In addition, little Michał is seriously ill. Asia does not complain, she is bravely doing her best in Ireland without family support.
It might be a sad Christmas for Asia, but it won't. In Together-Razem they have known Asia for 3 years, since when Asia used one of the services and have been in constant contact with her.
Marian * lives alone in a small apartment and with the only income which disability allowance. He was a regular participant in the project for the elderly at the Centre called Active Seniors Together. Since April, he cannot visit Together-Razem because of his health condition, but we will visit him before Christmas.

Many families struggle these days, no matter Irish or Polish. But this year due to COVID-19 restrictions many Polish families are left alone, isolated, without family network support. This year they wont be able to travel to Poland to spend time with their relatives. We want to bring them a little bit of joy during Christmas.
Each year we reach out to those who struggle the most. We work with those families during a year and we do know their situation.

Asia sama wychowuje dwójke dzieci, jedno jest powaznie niepelnosprawne. Asia nie skarzy sie na swój los, bedzie sama z dziecmi w te swieta z daleka od mamy i taty ktorzy przylatywali do Irlandii co roku by razem swietowac. Asia ucieszylaby sie na maly gest pamieci i wsparcia i gdyby otrzymala paczke i male pluszaki dla dzieci.
