This June, our family is returning to the Navajo Nation, in New Mexico, with a singular, urgent purpose: to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and call the youth of the Navajo Nation to a life of hope and repentance.
We aren't just going to visit; we are going to fulfill a biblical mandate to make disciples where God has opened a door. Our hearts are set on the young people (ages 8–19) at the Dinetah Youth Ministries Summer Camp who are searching for identity and purpose in a broken world.
The Strategy: "Finding Your Place in This World"
We are deeply humbled that the camp has adopted the curriculum God led us to develop. Our teaching will focus on three transformative pillars:
- The Call to Repentance: Turning from the bondages of the past to follow the Living God.
- The New Creation Life: Moving beyond "religion" to the reality of 2 Corinthians 5:17—understanding that in Christ, the old is gone and the new has come.
- True Identity: Helping Navajo youth discover that their "place" is defined by their standing in the Kingdom of God, not their circumstances.
The Work on the Ground
Your partnership enables us to be the hands and feet of Christ through:
- Nightly Proclamation: Bold teaching of the Word and worship services.
- Discipleship: Walking alongside students to help them navigate their faith.
- Community Outreach: Utilizing VBS and fellowship to build bridges for the Gospel.
