Our hotels are reserved and flights are all booked. It's real: we're going to Nationals! Over the weekend, the remaining Super Regionals were decided. Providence Rugby will face off against the Palmer College Dragons on May 21 at noon. At the same time, The Berkley All Blues 2 will play in their final four match against the Knoxville Minx to decide who moves on to the finals on Sunday.
Before moving to Providence, Kathy coached the All Blues, who we are thrilled to see succeeding in our division. And on Saturday, we watched the Minx win their game decisively, featuring our former #15 in their starting lineup (see you in GA <3 ). To support one club rugby team is to support the rugby community! We make each other better every practice, game, and get-together, and we're so grateful to all of you - players, friends, and donors - who have helped us come this far. Providence has been working hard at practice, and we're ready to bring the competition to Atlanta!
We can't believe fifty eight of you have donated to fund our trip to Nationals so far. The support we're feeling as a team is unbelievable. THANK YOU. So far, 14 flights are fully funded!
Last night, the team took a Saturday to rest and bond, watching the Free Jacks extend their record winning streak in their match against Old Glory. Providence Women's Rugby got a shout-out on the jumbotron at 60 minutes, and the congratulations and love we got from former teammates and current competitors in New England was amazing. We love you all so much!

Wow. This morning's update was supposed to be an astounded thank you to everyone who helped us raise over $1,000 in the first 24 hours of our campaign. Instead, this is a thank you for $2,158 raised so far. That's seven round trip flights! Our players are booking their tickets to Atlanta today! Our first practice since we took first place in Buffalo is tonight, and it's going to be electric.
