Imagine going on a lovely hike in Calico Basin, being "off the grid" for a blissful moment and taking in everything that Red Rock Canyon NCA has to offer. And then returning to the parking lot to find that someone has broken into your car and stolen your valuables.

The BLM Southern Nevada District Office Law Enforcement team has been responding to an increasing number of thefts this past year, which unfortunately impacts the experience for many visitors.

Friends of Red Rock Canyon is raising money to install solar-powered cameras within the NCA to deter and report this criminal activity. Everyone should be able to enjoy their public lands!
