Jason Andreas, a passionate educator and adventurer from East Glacier Park, Montana, calls the stunning landscapes of the Blackfeet Indian Nation home. For over 25 years, Jason has dedicated his career to supporting Native youth as a guidance counselor, high school principal, and assistant superintendent for Browning Public Schools—the second-largest Native school district in the U.S., serving over 2,500 students. His pioneering work includes launching programs like the Blackfeet Academy Alternative High School, the Blackfeet Academy Wilderness Adventure Program, and the Good Medicine Mental Health/Suicide Prevention Initiative.
Jason’s dedication to making a difference extends beyond education. As a licensed professional clinical counselor (LCPC), he advocates for trauma-informed educational practices nationwide. His life revolves around outdoor adventures—motorcycling, rafting, backpacking, fly fishing, hunting, backcountry skiing, sailing, and spending time in the mountains. His 16-year-old daughter, Maya, a sophomore at Browning High School, inspires him daily.
Now, Jason is channeling his adventurous spirit and dedication to service into the 2025 Scooter Cannonball with Team ScooterIceland. This grueling endurance event spans nearly 4,000 miles from Seaside, Oregon, to South Padre Island, Texas. It’s a physical and mental test, demanding resilience, navigation skills, and grit. Jason is ready to take on this challenge to raise awareness and funds for Pulmonary Fibrosis research through The Valhalla Fund.
The Valhalla Fund, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization (EIN: 92-1700871), proudly supports Team ScooterIceland. From June 22nd to June 29th, our riders will push through some of the most challenging roads in North America to fight Pulmonary Fibrosis. Join us in supporting Jason and the entire team as they ride for hope, health, and a cure!
