The DIB Foundation is committed to raising funds to increase awareness and provide services, education, and counseling for individuals experiencing mental health and or substance abuse issues.
The Founder, Averil Sylve, a former Child Protective Services worker, shared how she recognized the urgent need for these services which also includes the necessity for clothing and school supplies in underprivileged communities.
Our campaign offers a straightforward method for donors to contribute to the purchase of pre-packaged school supplies and backpacks for students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Donors who make an online contribution will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a gift card to a local eatery. The donated school supplies will be given to children in foster care within the Orange, Jefferson, and Harris County regions.
