"My name is Sayad. I have 5 children and two are sick. One of them was born with functional diversity and has trouble walking. The oldest is 8 years old and the youngest is only ten months old.
The war in our country forced us to flee to Lebanon where we hoped to find peace. Until 2020, we had been able to survive but the economic crisis devastated our lives and, with the war, things got even worse. My life has already passed, I only live for my children now but what kind of life am I going to be able to give them? what kind of future will they have? I no longer know what to do to get through this situation. My children deserve much more than what I can give them. Please help us!"

"Mi nombre es Sayad. Tengo 5 hijos y dos están enfermos. Uno de ellos nació con diversidad funcional y tiene problemas para caminar. El mayor tiene 8 años y el menor tiene solo diez meses.
La guerra en nuestro país nos obligó a huir al Líbano donde esperábamos encontrar paz. Hasta 2020 habíamos podido sobrevivir pero la crisis económica arrasó con nuestras vidas y después, con la guerra, todo se volvió incluso peor. Mi vida ya pasó, ahora solo vivo para y por mis hijos pero ¿qué vida les voy a poder dar? ¿Qué tipo de futuro van a tener? Ya no sé qué hacer para salir adelante. Mis hijos merecen mucho más de lo que yo les puedo dar. ¡Por favor ayúdanos!"
