This past year, we brought the powerful stories of three detransitioned women to life in our newest documentary film, The Detransition Diaries: Saving Our Sisters. The film has been viewed in 42 different countries and has launched some critically important conversations across the globe about the gender industry's rush to exploit the confusion and angst of young women wrestling with issues of identity.
Since its release, we've been inundated with requests for similar work to showcase the plight of the many young men who get sucked into this world of puberty blockers, hormones, and confusion about the material reality of their sex. We've had the opportunity to interview several of these men through our podcast, Venus Rising, and we agree: their stories need telling!
We have begun the initial steps for this important new project. Our team is in place, and the stories are coming together. We are aiming to complete this film for about $100,000, with the largest costs being allocated to our director of photographer fees, travel to conduct interviews, editing and some post-marketing expenses. To date, we have raised about $28,000 toward this goal. If you would like to donate specifically to this work, we would be incredibly grateful for your support. Proposed release date: January 2024.
