I am the mother of two young children: Amir, who is only 7 months old, and Ahmed, who is 1 year and 9 months old.
Today, I am reaching out with a mother's desperate plea for help.
Since the day he was born, baby Amir has suffered from severe kidney enlargement and ureteral strictures. His life has been filled with pain, medical procedures, and hospital stays. To help protect his kidneys, doctors had to perform a temporary procedure involving tubes connected to each kidney. Despite these efforts, Amir continues to suffer from severe urinary tract infections and has spent much of his short life in the hospital—often staying for 10 days every month.
Instead of enjoying the precious moments of infancy, Amir faces constant pain, medical tests, and uncertainty. He urgently needs surgery to improve his condition and give him the chance to grow up healthy and free from suffering.
As parents, we are living between fear and hope. Every day we worry about Amir's health while struggling to provide even the most basic necessities, including food, daily living expenses, medications, and specialized medical care.
To make matters even harder, our beloved son Ahmed recently fell and broke his foot. He is also suffering from a high fever and requires medical treatment and medication. Watching both of our children suffer at the same time has been heartbreaking.
We are doing everything we can, but the financial burden has become overwhelming. We cannot do this alone.
