At the end of October, Maelstrom Collaborative Arts Detroit Shoreway headquarters and performance space was hit by a car, a sad reality for many storefronts located along Detroit Rd.
This unexpected hit, paired with cuts to our local arts funding, asks us to be more inventive when making sure MCA can continue to provide resources and opportunities to innovative artists.
