According to Lago history, the Church of San Sebastiano dates back to at least to the year 1573.
It was de-consecrated in 1828.
By 1831, it was used as a grammar school.
In 1851, it was then affiliated with the Church of San Nicola.
Today, the church sits abandoned and restricted from public access due to the degradation of the building. Our campaign is to replace the roof of the facility, the first step to help save the church and it's over 450 years of history for the village of Lago. Once the roof has been successfully replaced, additional funds can be petitioned from the regional and provincial governments, along with other donations, to continue restoration of the interior and bring San Sebastiano back to life.

Secondo la storia di Lago, la Chiesa di San Sebastiano risale almeno all'anno 1573.

Oggi la chiesa è abbandonata e interdetta al pubblico a causa del degrado dell'edificio. La nostra campagna è quella di sostituire il tetto della struttura, il primo passo per aiutare a salvare la chiesa e sono oltre 450 anni di storia per il paese di Lago. Una volta che il tetto è stato sostituito con successo, ulteriori fondi possono essere richiesti alle amministrazioni regionali e provinciali, insieme ad altre donazioni, per continuare il restauro dell'interno e riportare in vita San Sebastiano.
