Our Why
Around the world, emerging scholars and social entrepreneurs working to build pathways of access and engagement between people and science are struggling to move their work forward due to a lack of catalytic funding, infrastructure, mentorship, partnerships, professional development, and so much more. The nature of the problems they both face and are tackling are multi-faceted. Although progress is occurring, more can be done.
About SAi
We ae an incubator that provides access to research, infrastructure, mentorship, community, and funding to, put simply, make it easier for new scholars and social entrepreneurs to study, experiment, explore and ultimately build the next generation of initiatives and scholarship in civic science that include the fields of public engagement with science, science communication, informal STEM learning (ISL), community science, science policy, and others.
