RTL Cup Golf Fundraiser for The V Foundation for Cancer Research will take place April 20-21 at Whirlwind Golf Course at Wild Horse Pass in Chandler, AZ
8 teams will be competing in a Ryder Cup style golf event to raise money for The V Foundation. The 8 teams will compete in a fundraising competition and golf competition.
The V Foundation for Cancer Research was founded by ESPN and legendary basketball coach Jim Valvano with one goal in mind: to achieve Victory Over Cancer®. Since its formation in 1993, the V Foundation has awarded over $310 million in cancer research grants nationwide and has grown to become one of the premier supporters of cutting-edge cancer research. Due to generous donors, the Foundation has an endowment that covers administrative expenses.
And it has, with 3.5 million fewer cancer deaths in the past 30 years. But there is more work to do. Cancer is still the second-leading cause of death. We continue to “need money for research” to accelerate Victory Over Cancer®
