When SNAP benefits are cut, families in our community face hunger and uncertainty. We are hearing from more and more neighbors who are struggling to put food on the table, elders who are skipping meals so their grandchildren can eat, and families who never imagined they would need to ask for help.
At Three Sisters Gardens, we cannot turn our backs. Our work is rooted in the belief that food is more than nourishment — it is care, connection, and community. We grow food, prepare meals, and support one another because that is what solidarity looks like in action. When systems fail, we step up together.
Your support for Rooted in Solidarity directly helps us:
Provide fresh groceries and meals for families impacted by SNAP cuts
Offer youth stipends for hands-on learning in our farms and food programs
Pay fair wages to staff who grow, cook, and distribute food
Sustain our farms, community kitchen, and programs through the winter
Every gift matters. $50 feeds five families a home-cooked meal. $100 provides a week of youth stipends. $250 supports the daily work of our team to grow, prepare, and deliver food to neighbors in need.
We cannot solve hunger alone, but together we can make a difference. Stand with us. Stand with our community. Stand with each other.
