Our owners and staff are comprised of young ambitious dancers striving to make their mark not just in the sates but the world. The funds that we will be raising for the next few months will be for a small group of us to travel to Gold Coast Australia to compete at a dance competition Fall 2023.
DANCHELLA is Australia’s first ever vacation dance competition! Created by Laurence Kaiwai in 2021,
Danchella 2K23 will host the annual events third year.
Danchella aims to bring together competition, training,
vacation along with some of the worlds most talented and influential artists, all within an incredible social and
community atmosphere. We will compete with some of the world's best dancers and dance teams at Danchella dance comp & The Chella Battles! Following competition day, dancers will have the opportunity to learn from world class teachers and take full advantage of being alongside some of the world's best dancers and choreographers!
Growing up in the south for most if not all it is very rare for dancers to get the opportunity to train with world class dancers let alone afford it when it comes knocking. This time around we want to do the knocking. It would be a literal dream to some of us to travel across the huge pond that is the ocean to train and network with our legit heroes. We believe the southernmost part of the United States has something to offer to this dancer world. We also believe that it takes a village. We do hope that you can aid in our journey to show the world that Houston Texas can in fact hold it down!
