Too many people in our community carry lingering pain from harms they have suffered because of crime—harms the criminal legal system is not equipped to address. It’s time to add another approach.
The Restorative Justice Collaborative Hub is getting ready to launch repair of harm services that tailor accountability to meet the needs of the people involved. Our approach centers the needs of those harmed, invites those responsible to make meaningful amends, and ultimately decreases further harm and makes the community safer.
Will you help to expand our community’s response to crime?
It is time to recruit and train our first group of skilled facilitators. Generous support from the Pokagon Fund and the Beacon Health System will cover part of the cost, but we need additional help.
We need your support today to ensure that we can cover our trainer´s consulting fee and travel costs, provide ongoing professional development for our new repair of harm team, and pay our facilitators when they start providing this service.
Will you help us meet our initial launch goal of $15,000?
With your support we can reduce the enduring pain our community members carry every day. Please invest in making justice more real for more people in our community.
