New Gym in Hardee County!!

Our community needs more positive activities. As part of the solution, we are working to build a new gymnasium in Wauchula!! The gym will be used as a community outreach through basketball. We will be able to reach youth of varying backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultures. The year-round programs will stress sports performance and positive life lessons.

Location: Riverview Heights Missionary Baptist Church, 1321 E. Main Street, Wauchula, FL

WOW!!! The Macedonian Builders have agreed to build our gym at no cost, and this professional group of builders can do it all. This is their mission: to build. WOW!!! Additionally, general contractor Buddy Raney and other highly-qualified local professionals have generously agreed to oversee the work details of our project. WOW!!! We have an existing concrete pad foundation already in place. WOW!!! When we stop to count our God-given blessings, they are really adding up. WOW!!!

Our new gymnasium will be home to a brand new basketball academy! While the academy will fall under the moral purview of RHMBC, it will not function as a denominational or religious organization. Our organization will function as a basketball academy with community outreach elements. Our coaches have extensive experience leading players from elementary age through junior high, high school, college D1/D2/NAIA, and professional basketball. Regardless of how far a sport takes an individual, that will be for only a short time - but he/she will be a person for his/her whole life. As much as we like achievements, we care more about the individual as a person. THIS is what we choose to do with the time God has given us!
