🚀 Giving Tuesday Campaign Update — Let’s Hit $10,000 for 2026!
Our Movember campaign was a huge success — together we raised $5,030! Because of that, the moment many of you have been waiting for is officially happening: Greg and Joe will face the razor! Greg’s legendary beard (7 years strong!) is getting shaved off this Saturday, December 6th.
Thank you for showing up for veterans in such an incredible way.
🎯 New Goal: $10,000 for the 2026 Rifles to Rods Program
Now we’re taking that momentum straight into Giving Tuesday and the two weeks that follow.
Our goal: double our impact and hit $10,000.
Why $10,000?
Because that’s the level that ensures we can run a full, strong season of veteran fishing therapy trips in 2026—covering fuel, gear, safety equipment, captains, meals, and everything needed to give veterans the experience they deserve.
🙌 How You Can Help — Starting TODAY
1️⃣ Donate anytime over the next two weeks
Giving Tuesday is the perfect moment to step in. Every dollar goes directly into the 2026 program.

💙 Why Give Now?
Because your support today guarantees that next season, a veteran gets:
a safe place on the water
a skilled guide
a day of connection, purpose, and calm
and a community that shows them they’re not alone
Every contribution moves us closer to a full 2026 program.

No Shave. No Limits. Supporting Veterans & Men’s Mental Health.
Both Movember and No-Shave November challenge men to ditch the razor for the month—whether it’s growing a bold mustache or a full beard—as a way to spark real conversations, raise awareness, and rally funds to support men’s mental health and overall wellbeing.
Grow a Beard. Grow Awareness. Support Veterans.
This November, Rifles to Rods is launching Movember for the Mission — a month-long challenge to raise awareness for men’s mental health and veteran PTSD, and to fund fishing therapy programs that help veterans find healing, connection, and hope.
We’re skipping the shave for a cause that truly matters. Whether you’re growing a mustache for Movember or going full No Shave November, your facial hair can spark conversations that save lives.
Every donation goes directly to veteran fishing therapy trips — giving veterans a safe space to decompress, build camaraderie, and heal on the water.
🧔🏽♂️ What We’re Doing
Movember: Grow a mustache for the entire month — start clean-shaven and use your mustache as a conversation starter about men’s mental health.
No-Shave November: Forgo all shaving and grooming for the month — embrace the natural look and raise funds for veterans battling PTSD and mental health struggles.
The Goal: Raise $5,000 to fund fishing therapy trips and mental health outreach for veterans across the Massachusetts region.
We’re taking No-Shave November to the next level! If we hit our $5,000 fundraising goal, board members and veterans Greg and Joe have bravely volunteered to face the razor. That’s right—Greg hasn’t shaved in seven years, and this could be the epic moment his beard finally meets its match. Help us reach our goal and make it happen—all while supporting men’s mental health and wellbeing!

🎣 Outreach and support for veterans battling PTSD and isolation
💡 Why It Matters
Men are far less likely to talk about mental health struggles or seek help.
Veterans face a higher risk of depression, anxiety, and suicide after service.
Fishing therapy provides a peaceful, peer-supported space where veterans can reconnect and recover through nature and camaraderie.
Your beard isn’t just a style — it’s a statement that men’s mental health matters.
📸 How to Get Involved
Want to join in on the fun? We’re suggesting a $100 pledge—representing the money you’d typically spend on shaving and grooming for the month. Every dollar helps us reach our goal, spark conversations, and make a real impact for men’s health.
Start Fresh: Begin the month clean-shaven (if you’re doing Movember) or simply stop shaving (for No-Shave November).
Pledge to Grow: Let your beard or mustache grow all month as a symbol of support for men’s mental health.
