Rogue Farm Corps' Spring Donation Campaign
RFC is facing significant funding challenges due to disruptions in three critical federal grants supporting our Beginning Farmer Training Programs & Collaborative Farming Initiative. These cuts have created significant gaps in our 2025 budget, affecting stipends for Host Farms, the availability of culturally and linguistically appropriate educational resources for our diverse participants, staff compensation and capacity, and overall program accessibility for underserved farmers. Funding challenges affect our ability to provide scholarships, maintain staff at capacity, and fully run our programs that empower aspiring farmers.
But we are committed to moving forward, no matter the challenges.
RFC is dedicated to justice, belonging, and liberation, and we will continue to stand firm in our commitment to building an inclusive, resilient agricultural system. Here’s how we are responding—and how you can help:
We are launching our 2025 Spring Fundraising Campaign to raise $16,000 and bridge funding gaps caused by these cuts. Your support will allow us to prioritize the following:
Provide program fee scholarships and travel support to beginning farmers from marginalized identities.
Facilitating Farm Apprenticeships and Beginning Farmer educational events in the Willamette Valley, Rogue Valley, Portland area, and statewide
Support our fantastic staff in delivering high-quality training, education, and mentorship.
How Your Gift Helps:
$25: Funds a scholarship for a farmer to attend an RFC educational event.
$50: Provides travel support for an Apprentice to attend an educational weekend intensive.
$100: Provides essential operational support for staff and programs impacted by the federal funding freeze.
$250: Funds an outstanding guest instructor and farm tour leader for a beginning farmer event.
Together, we can ensure that the future of farming in Oregon remains just and inclusive—every dollar you give invests in future farmers shaping our food system. We are committed to ensuring that power is equitably shared and that our farms, ranches, and the people who work them flourish—but we can’t do it without you.
Thank you for standing with us during this critical time. We are grateful for your continued support and belief in our mission. Let’s keep pushing for what is right together.
With deep gratitude,
The RFC Team
