Support the Gualala Community Center
In February 2023, a fire destroyed the Gualala Community Center’s main hall and Pay ’n’ Take clothing room — spaces that held decades of shared memories and community gatherings. While the spirit of GCC lives on, rebuilding will require support beyond what insurance alone can provide, due to rising construction costs and updated building requirements.
Your donation helps the Gualala Community Center move forward and continue its mission. Donors may choose to direct their gift to one of the following areas:
Rebuilding the Community Center — Supporting the construction of a new, accessible gathering space for our community
Scholarships — Helping local students pursue educational opportunities
General Fund — Supporting ongoing programs, services, and community needs
Founded in 1954 by local volunteers, GCC remains committed to serving the South Coast through programs supported by community generosity and the Pay ’n’ Take thrift program.
