Even today, almost 2 weeks since the 7.2 magnitude earthquake, continuing aftershocks keep southern Haiti in a state of fear and uncertainty. But in spite of this, our Haitian team has been hard at work, serving their community. They are doing all the hard work, in the most difficult of circumstances, yet they keep thanking us for making it possible! Ketleine and her crew are cooking 150-220 meals a day to distribute to the hospital patients and their families and Toto delivered a truckload of rice and beans to the community of Charier and distributed tarps to those still sleeping outside.
This week Toto and the team will continue checking on our teachers and students to determine their housing needs. Our goal is to get our Hut Outreach team into secure housing as soon as possible.
We need miracles: finding building supplies, having the funds to purchase those supplies, and wisdom to best help our precious Haitian friends. Thank you for giving!
