Black Mental Health Matters. The continuing pandemic has been difficult for people trying to gain or maintain access to mental and emotional health, safety and opportunities to experience community support.
Through the Community Healing fund, we serve Black femmes and their families impacted by incarceration and police violence.
Recently, some of our sisters in the local organizing community have experienced mental health crises, displacement and the need to escape abusive home-life. We need community to keep us safe.
Please invest in their treatment, rest and recovery by donating to this campaign. Faith for Justice strives to do more than post pictures with the hashtag #ProtectBlackWomen - and we are grateful for the opportunity to take action.
Your donation is tax deductible, and will help us to cover the following for our sisters.
- Housing
- Local transportation
- Medication necessary to maintain emotional health and regulate mental illness
- Therapy
- Clothing and meals
Please share this campaign and help get the word out about this opportunity to protect and invest in the mental health of Black organizers.
