Every journey begins with someone willing to share a story. This weekend, my father, Ron Spears, and I have the privilege of traveling to Kenya alongside Michael Farley to support the incredible work being done in Makindu. I honestly wouldn’t be making this trip if Michael hadn’t spent years sharing stories about his experiences in Makindu, the people he met, and the adventures that forever changed his perspective on life. Those stories inspired me to see this mission for myself and to be a small part of something much bigger than any one person. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside so many people who are making a lasting difference in the lives of these children and this community. Thank you to everyone who has donated. Your generosity isn’t just funding a project—it’s investing in hope, education, and a brighter future for the children of Makindu. I’m honored to walk this journey with you all.
