We're immensely grateful as we celebrate the completion of yet another project under ProjectARK - the construction of the new shower block for the girls and boys in the Korando boarding section.

In case you haven't see these updates on our socials yet- here's the handover of the 272 brand new Grade 9 school books (worth over €1500) that were urgently needed to start this new school year.

From the children and teachers we extend a heartfelt THANK YOU for making this happen! These books will serve the school for many years to come!

The brand new shower block is almost finished.

It holds 5 shower cubicles for the girls and 4 for the boys.

We didn't have tiles in the budget, but have found an additional donor to help us out. Soon they will also be finished!

Here's an update from the dormitories.

BEFORE (Rusty and leaking roof)

Currently: Both roofs are being replaced.On the upper side is the girls dormitory with green roof already. On the lower side is the boys dormitory in progress.

We opened the walls in the dormitories to make them bigger.

Within a few days, we'll be able to share pictures of both buildings completed.
