Help Support the 67th Brigade's Drone Battalion
The 67th Brigade (the brigade our founder, Peter Fouché, was part of) has launched its own drone battalion. At Project Konstantin, we are committed to helping them strengthen this unit, and we're inviting you to join us in our most ambitious fundraising campaign to date.
Our Initial Targets:
To equip the drone battalion, we aim to secure:
22 vehicles
22 portable power stations
22 generators
22 Samsung Galaxy tablets
22 Starlinks
22 Mavic 3 drones
22 radio translators
10 laptops
7 ground stations
300 initialisation chips
However, as the battalion's needs evolve, we will adapt our purchases to ensure the funds are used where they are needed most. Some items in the initial scope might be substituted for more pressing requirements.
Why Drones Matter:
In the weeks leading up to his death, Pete was sometimes as close as 100 metres away from the orcs.
It's simple: the further away the invaders are from our defenders, the safer our defenders are.
Drones keep the enemy at bay. Drones save lives.
About Project Konstantin:
Project Konstantin is a charitable organisation dedicated to supporting Ukraine's defenders. Our mission is to provide essential resources and assistance to those on the frontlines of Ukraine’s fight for freedom. Over the years, we have delivered vital supplies, vehicles, and support to soldiers defending their homeland.
In the past, Project Konstantin also operated a casualty evacuation (casevac) team. This team was instrumental in saving lives, successfully evacuating 219 soldiers and several civilians who were endangered by russia’s aggression and indiscriminate attacks on populated areas.
The tragic loss of our founder and director, Peter Fouché, deeply impacted our organisation and led to the difficult decision to discontinue the casevac team. Peter’s leadership and vision were at the heart of our operations, and his passing remains a profound loss to everyone who knew him.
Despite this, our resolve to support Ukraine’s defenders has never wavered. We continue to adapt, focusing our efforts on where we can make the greatest impact, including strengthening initiatives like this drone battalion.
On 27 June 2024, Pete Fouché was killed on the battlefield. Project Konstantin is continuing its work, you can read more about it here.
A note on exchange rates: In the video, Pete says we're fundraising for 400,000.00 USD. As of 8 June 2024 when we launched this campaign, that works out as 314,948.24 GBP. To make sure that we take safeguard ourselves against the exchange rate, we have set the target for the fundraiser as 320,000.00 GBP. Any remaining funds will be used to buy extra sundries required by the brigade.
Note: Donations of items will be counted, but the total (monetary) fundraising goal won't change. This topic was discussed with Pete before his passing and it was decided that, since we are fundraising for the bare minimum of what is required by the battalion, any donations of items allows us to buy more equipment for the battalion.
