Primrose arrived at the Little Red Barn in February, 2020 as a 10-day old bottle baby dorper lamb. She had been born in the cold winter outside and was near death when the farmer found her and revived her. Lambs born in February are called Spring Lambs so they are ready for Easter. Fortunately for Primrose, the farmer’s wife loved the little lamb and took care of her in her home until she was well enough to come to our sanctuary to live out her days freely. Gentle Primrose is quite happy to live either in the house or barn and enjoys the company of our dogs, cats and other residents especially the goats. She even climbs up to sleep and cuddle with the goats in the straw of their special goat area. She has a wonderful joyful bounce and loves to go for walks with our family and dogs on outings.
