About the Campaign
The Growing Curious Minds Fund is Green Bean Books’ community giving program dedicated to expanding youth literacy through books, writers and experiences. The Fund’s first campaign initiative—Authors In Schools—will help us bring nationally recognized authors into classrooms, provide every participating student with a signed book, and equip teachers with resources that extend the experience long after the visit.

Raise $7,000 to fund our first Authors Into Schools initiative.
Impact of Your Contribution
Your donation enables us to facilitate visits from acclaimed children’s authors who represent diverse backgrounds and perspectives, specifically reaching students in local underserved schools.
Every child involved will receive their own personal, signed copy of the author’s book to keep.
We will provide educators with curriculum materials to continue the literary conversation in the classroom and at home, extending the impact of the visit.
Our goal is simple: every child deserves the opportunity to meet an inspiring author, own a book they can call their own, and discover the joy of reading and writing.
