Mother of Hope Hybrid Academy is in need of a fence to surround our outdoor play area. The research shows that students learn much better when they have daily outdoor time for play, and so we bring our students outside for recess every day, no matter the weather!
Last year we had plastic temporary fencing around the play yard, as the lot is next to a street intersection. This year, with twice the amount of students, the plastic fencing will not hold up. Will you help us cover the cost of a permanent fence?
We are so grateful that a MOHHA dad who works as an engineer will be donating the labor of installation, along with many other volunteers! But, the fencing materials alone cost $6,000. This is a lot for a small non-profit! Please consider donating to help us cover the cost!
BUY A FENCE PANEL & GET A PLAQUE
If you sponsor a fence panel for $130, you will have the option to have a small plaque put on the panel that says "Pray for [name]". The prayers of children are so powerful and we want to provide small reminders throughout Mother of Hope that prompt the students to lift their hearts to God, even for a moment. Instead of the plaque saying "this fence panel was donated by John Bosco", the plaque will say "Pray for John Bosco". Fence panels may be donated in memory of someone, or in honor of someone living.
