1. Essential Caretaking: The vital maintenance, utilities, and staffing that allow Samye Hermitage to continue functioning, year after year, are supported by your membership. You are providing a home for the Dharma in the West, and supporting Phakchok Rinpoche's U.S. seat.


2. Continuous Practice and Offerings: Our resident monastic Lama Kalsang now makes daily offerings on behalf of our community, as well as traditional "feast offerings" (tsok) on auspicious days, including Guru Rinpoche Day, Dakini Day, and abundance practice (Lama Norlha) on Medicine Buddha Day. We all share in this merit.


3. Weekly Classes: Our members support weekly classes for Buddhist and non-Buddhist alike, led by our experience instructors, allowing for ever-deeper insights into meditation practices and Buddhist philosophy.
