The Power of Friendship: A Pilgrimage for Parkinson's
When Anita McMullin made the decision to walk 500 miles on the famous Camino de Santiago across Spain, she wanted it to be about more than just a personal pilgrimage.
Inspired by her neighbor and friend Tom McDonald's Parkinson's journey, she dedicated her walk to his fight – and to the work of the Parkinson's Education and Support Group of Sussex County (PESGSC), in Delaware.
In April 2024, Anita will walk more than 500 miles – 15 miles every day for 30 days – on the El Camino. Tom will also track his walks and workouts back home in Delaware. Together, Anita and Tom will share videos and stories of their individual journeys.
Will you join Anita and Tom in the fight against Parkinson's? Your support will provide vital resources for neighbors living with this insidious disease.
