Mission Update: Direct Support Delivered to Kibbutz Kfar Aza
On April 25, 2025, thanks to a generous donations from our supporters, Protect Israel Fund was able to act quickly and decisively to provide vital gear to communities on Israel’s southern border. We’re proud to share how this contribution made a real, on-the-ground difference.
With those funds, we purchased urgently needed security equipment: a full set of rechargeable flashlights, a brand-new two-way radio system with 12 radios and charging stations, traffic and safety gear, and additional items that are sensitive in nature. Every item was carefully chosen to enhance security and emergency preparedness.
But we didn’t just send boxes—we delivered everything in person!
On May 15, our team traveled directly to Kibbutz Kfar Aza, adjacent to the Gaza border, where we hand-delivered the gear to their administrative and security teams. The response was overwhelming. The staff expressed deep appreciation—not only for the equipment itself, but for the personal connection and follow-through. As Orit Z., their donation coordinator, told us: “Protect Israel Fund was one of the few organizations that actually fulfilled its promises after October 7th.”
We also met with leaders from Kibbutz Alumim and Kibbutz Be’eri, gaining firsthand insight into the daily realities faced by these border communities. These conversations were open, honest, and critical to understanding the scope of recovery and the ongoing threats they face.
This trip was a success on every level. It built trust, solidified long-term partnerships, and demonstrated what Protect Israel Fund stands for: fast, efficient, and personal action. Even while navigating active war-zone conditions and intermittent enemy fire, we were able to deliver lasting impact—on time, on budget, and on mission.
