This project will supply this kibbutz with critical night vision surveillance equipment allowing for the security teams to see people and vehicles approaching in the dark. Its during those critical moments that even a few minutes of warning can be the difference between life and a repeat of October 7. In addition, this sophisticated gear can help locate missing persons and animals and assist with many other safety and rescue operations.
This kIbbutz within the Gaza envelope was one of the hardest hit communities on October 7, 2023. Over 100 innocent residents - nearly 8% of the population - were savagely murdered by Hamas invaders and dozens of people were taken hostage and forced into the terror tunnels in Gaza.
