At Expand, our mission is to train and equip 1 BILLION people to be more effective in their ministries, spreading the Gospel across every nation. We believe in creating more impactful, Gospel-centered ministries worldwide, and we have an incredible opportunity to do just that in the Philippines next year.
Why the Philippines?
The Philippines, with a population of over 119 million, is a country where half the population lives in poverty. Tropical storms, floods, and landslides often ravage lives and homes, especially in the slums. Despite this, many are open to the Gospel, yet most evangelical churches are located in wealthier areas. Nearly 50% of slums and squatter communities lack an evangelical church.
Our Mission
We’ve been invited by Pastor Charlie Ferrera, a seasoned pastor with 38 years of experience and a leader of 6 churches in the Philippines, to minister at 15 services over 17 days in April 2025. Our team of 12 will travel across 6 cities—including: Manila, Lucena, Mulanay, Pangasinan, and Baguio—bringing hope and transformation through:
- 4 Leadership Seminars
- 2 Revival Services
- A Worship Team Workshop
- Preaching at 5 Church Services
- Evangelizing and Preaching at North Cemetery
- Teaching Kids Church
- Baptizing New Believers
