We are beyond thrilled to have Pete Hoffswell, my incredible brother-in-law, as a support vehicle captain for ScooterIceland 2025! Pete is not only a capable equipment operator, but he also brings a critical skill set in radio communications—a game-changer for keeping our team connected.
As a Ham Radio hobbyist, Pete is an expert in radio communication, ensuring smooth coordination between support-truck to support-truck and support-truck to bike communications. His expertise will be vital as we navigate this nearly 4,000-mile journey from Seaside, OR, to South Padre Island, TX.
Pete’s role is essential to our mission of raising awareness and funds to cure Pulmonary Fibrosis through The Valhalla Fund. This marks the second major expedition for ScooterIceland, following our unforgettable ride around Iceland in 2023.
