Penny was rescued a few weeks ago and came to us with leg deformities that make it tough for her to get around.
Despite her challenges, she’s full of life and has a great appetite, but she requires ongoing medical care to ensure her comfort and well-being. Her veterinary team has recommended several treatments and adaptations, including bandaging to protect her feet, regular doses of pain management medication, and introducing her to a specialty chicken wheelchair. When Penny became a Wheeler, we didn’t realize it would be literally.
