Dayana* was born with a cleft lip earlier this year. For her family, who live in rural Lambayeque, specialized care seemed far away—until they learned about the upcoming FACES Surgical Cleft Mission.
After a virtual evaluation in April, Dayana was approved for surgery and is now preparing for her cleft lip repair this July. Thanks to supporters like you, she will receive expert care from Dr. Jessyka Lighthall of Penn State Otolaryngology, giving her the opportunity to smile, eat, and thrive.
Every child deserves access to the care they need. This July, Dayana's story is just one of many lives that will be changed through the generosity of the FACES community.
