It has been an honour to serve you as the Green Party TD for Dublin South Central.
As a TD I have worked hard to champion progressive green causes, to address the climate crisis whilst protecting those most vulnerable in our society. I have championed amongst other things; the need for a new school in Dublin 8, special education and ASD needs across the constituency and our local heritage – such as the Iveagh Markets. I served as Party Spokesperson for Justice, advocating a more compassionate approach to our justice system. I also served as Vice-Chair of the Oireachtas Children’s and Equality Committee where we pushed through crucial reforms.
As TD I also challenged the ratification of CETA. I am deeply concerned about Investor Courts and the hugely negative impact they will have on our climate ambitions. This challenge went all the way to the Supreme Court who agreed that as the law stands CETA could not be ratified. This is another example of my work to protect progressive climate focused policy.
I will ensure that we continue to have a progressive Green voice in Dáil Éireann. But I can’t do it without your help!
Running campaigns cost money and we will be outspent by other parties. If you can donate to the campaign any and all donations would be appreciated. Funds raised will be used for leafletting, postering, advertisement.
