A narrow mountain road connects Kurukullā Devī Temple to the world. When it closes, everything pauses.
This effort is to keep the road open - year after year.

THE SITUATION
Kurukullā Devī Ji’s abode stands in a remote Himalayan valley -
a living place of practice, devotion, and sacred work. There is only one access road.
Sadhakas traveling for practice and initiation depend on it. Construction teams depend on it. Local villagers daily movement depend on it.
The terrain is steep and prone to landslides, especially during monsoon season. When the road is blocked, movement stops. Work pauses. Access becomes difficult and many times impossible and dangerous.

A JCB excavator allows the road to be cleared and maintained consistently.

A JCB excavator allows the road to be cleared and maintained consistently.
Instead of relying on limited and expensive rentals, the aim is to purchase a dedicated JCB for the temple.
This ensures:
- Reliable year-round access
- Faster and more safe response to landslides
- Continued progress of temple construction
- Support for the surrounding community
This is not a one-time action. A maintained road supports every journey that happens there- today, tomorrow, and in the years ahead. Every person who walks that path benefits from this effort.
MĀRGA DĀNA
In the tradition, there is a concept called Mārga Dāna - the offering of a path. The act of supporting the way itself, so that others may walk it.
This is a significant, yet very doable collective effort.
