Patchy has bilateral hip dysplasia so significant that his right femoral head is subluxating and has started fracturing from the repeated dislocations. Due to Patchy’s lack of hip stability, his knees have taken the brunt of the loading and he’s torn both of his CCLs and has arthritis in his hips, knees AND his ankles.
The vet has recommended bilateral FHO and TPLO Surgeries.
We thank the wonderful team at River Park Hospital for taking such good care of him. We thank Patchy’s caring foster dad and extended family for caring for his needs and extending that care to a medical crisis that no one anticipated would be his fate, and we thank you all for rallying behind him.
Lots of our volunteers have met Patchy and everyone will tell you what a sweet boy he is!
We believe that even though he’s endured more than any single animal should have to experience at his young age, that ahead, he has a future he deserves. If you are able to contribute in any way shape or form toward his expenses, we are so very grateful.
