Owen has been selected to participate in the prestigious New Balance Future Stars Series Underclass Combine in Nashville, TN. He needs your help to make this dream a reality. The players are not charged a fee to participate but instead get the opportunity to raise funds for Future Stars Series Foundation and No Kid Hungry. The players have a chance to earn the entire trip for free just by helping raise money for these great causes.
Meet Owen: Owen Mongeon, is 15 years old, and attends Shrewsbury High School as a freshman. He is an outfielder and pitcher. His goal is to play high level college baseball and beyond. Owen is committed to working hard to meet his goals, and he strives to better himself every day.
Owen shares his favorite baseball memory: "My favorite baseball memory was hitting a homerun and pitching a complete game in the first championship victory for my towns all-star team. This came after a long and hard-fought season."
Owen also shares what attending the NBFSS Underclass Combine means to him: "Attending this event means representing my town, state, and region as well as my team. It provides an opportunity for me to showcase my abilities and the hard work that has been devoted to bettering myself as well as my skills."
