#OneTeam for Kenya

Instead of the traditional football game or running a Turkey Trot this Thanksgiving morning – I’m hitting the water! Why? Well, because of water – or lack of it.

You see, since 2016 our team at Brighton Jones has supported three nonprofits in Kenya where they are in the midst of a crippling drought and they need our help. The good news is that we have a direct line to deliver support and it is astonishing how efficiently every dollar is used.

I figure there is no better way to give thanks for the abundance of water in our corner of the world than to paddleboard around beautiful Lake Wilderness in the hope that, in some small way, it will help them make up for the lack water in theirs. My goal is to make it around the lake 5 times (about 7.5 miles) and would appreciate your support.
