We are raising $50,000 as the down payment for our future home in East Orlando for unsheltered women. There's a real urgency to have a safe and transformative space for unhoused women and their kids. Look at these stats based on the 2024 PIT Count for Metro Orlando:

1. The overall Homeless Population increased by about 25–30% compared to 2023.
2. There was a notable increase in families with children, especially single mothers.
3. Unsheltered homelessness (people living in cars, tents, or outside) rose sharply, due to limited shelter capacity and skyrocketing rents.
4. Over 3,700 individuals were counted as experiencing homelessness on a single night in early 2024.

More than 200,000 people live in their cars at one point in time. These numbers are just an approximation. Did you know that guilt and shame stop people from getting help? These make them invisibly homeless.
