On November 22nd our development team, responsible for the development of our free game Operation: Harsh Doorstop, discovered that another development team had been ripping assets from our game's files without our permission and were using the stolen assets to develop and sell their own game for $40 USD.
After sending a notice to the development team responsible for illegally using our assets in their game, they began filing DMCA strikes against creators who criticized their studio for the illegal use of assets taken from our studio's game without permission.
We are now in a legal battle with this studio to not only force them to fully remove all of our assets from their game, but also drop all DMCA strikes against creators who exercised their first amendment right to criticize their studio.
