Porter's Pig Petting Challenge to help fill the Summer Fund for Outsiders Farm & Sanctuary!
As you know, we’re a family of five running the sanctuary. While the kids have always pitched in with animal care and socialization, Porter has overheard many adult conversations about the sanctuary’s finances and decided to take matters into his own hands. He created his own fundraiser video, all by himself!
While we’ve been focusing on food and medical bills, Porter wants to raise funds to get the pigs ready for summer.
He’s grown up learning about what the animals need, and he’s taken that knowledge to heart.
We founded OFAS when Porter was just six years old, and watching him today with such a loving, compassionate attitude toward the animals truly melts my mama heart.
Porter will pet a new pig everyday until we reach our $10,000 Summer Fund Goal!
Porter is raising money to keep the animals cool and happy this summer with refreshing treats, sunscreen, sun safe activities, and hopes to raise enough funds to have new, larger wallows dug for the pigs before the heat arrives.
