Goal

Every Mile Counts: Running for Those Fighting Addiction

I’m taking on a challenge to raise funds for Healing Transitions, a nonprofit organization that provides addiction recovery services, and I need your support!

On December 21st, I will be racing the Oakwood24 in an attempt to run 100 miles nonstop in 24 hours to raise awareness and funds for those in need of addiction recovery. Every step I take will symbolize the journey of countless individuals who are fighting to regain control of their lives and heal from addiction. This run is not just a physical challenge — it’s a way to show that recovery, like running, is about endurance, resilience, and overcoming obstacles.

But I can’t do this alone. I’m asking you to join me in this mission by donating to the cause. Every dollar you donate will go directly to Healing Transitions, to help fund programs that provide critical resources, therapy, and hope for those in recovery.

Addiction doesn’t just affect the person struggling with it; it impacts families, friends, communities, and society as a whole. Whether we know it or not, we are all touched by addiction in some way. This race is about more than just the miles; it’s about bringing people together to help those who need it most. This is not about me – it’s about perseverance, hope, and the collective power of community. Addiction recovery is a long road, and for many, this journey feels impossible. But together, we can make it possible.

How You Can Help:

  1. Donate – Your contribution, no matter the amount, makes a huge impact.

  2. Share – Spread the word! Share this campaign with your family, friends, and social networks to help raise awareness.

I’m running to give others the chance to rebuild their lives. Let’s make every mile count, together.
